A significant platform that has supported us on this journey is the productronica trade fair in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics manufacturing. Since our first participation in 2003, we have been present not only as exhibitors but also as innovators at this event.
Our History with productronica
Our journey with productronica began back in 2003 when we first exhibited there. The trade fair provided us with the opportunity to present our SMT production solutions to the industry and to lay the foundation for many successful partnerships.

Over the years, the requirements and technologies in electronics manufacturing have developed rapidly. productronica has always given us the opportunity to discover new technologies and continuously improve our own solutions.
From automation solutions to the latest placement technologies – we were able to expand our product range with the most advanced solutions that meet the industry's demands.
Our Expansion into Asia: productronica in Shanghai
However, our journey did not end in Munich. In addition to Nepcon in Shenzhen, we also participated in the productronica in Shanghai, one of Asia’s largest trade fairs for electronics manufacturing. This international event enabled us to showcase our solutions on a global stage.
productronica 2025: We will NOT attend!
After careful consideration, we have decided not to participate in this year’s
productronica – a fair that has been a regular fixture in our event calendar for many years. We made this decision for several reasons that have prompted us to explore new paths and to look at the industry from a different perspective.
1. Changing industry conditions
Production processes and technologies have evolved significantly in recent years, and many of our customers and partners now seek more personalized and targeted interactions. Traditional trade fair appearances are no longer the only way for us to engage in direct dialogue and offer solutions.
2. Value through digital formats
We have realized that digital events and webinars are gaining importance. These formats allow us to interact with an international audience in a targeted and cost-effective way. Our resources can now be used more efficiently to develop deeper and more tailored solutions for our clients.
3. Sustainability and resource management
We are increasingly focusing on sustainability and resource management. Participating in large trade fairs not only involves financial costs but also significant logistical effort. We have decided to invest these resources more wisely into the development of products and services that create sustainable added value for our customers.
4. Focus on partnerships and personal relationships
Instead of trade fairs, we are focusing more on building long-term partnerships and personal relationships with our customers and partners. In one-on-one meetings, we can address specific requirements and offer customized solutions.
5. Shift in the marketing landscape
The way companies communicate and present their products has changed. Social media, online marketing, and tailored events now offer us much more direct and effective opportunities to deliver our messages to the right target audiences.
